Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as fourteen years old. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were marred. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She won her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks beaten by a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. When she next faced Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant role. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had a fierce back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. The third time she fought on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
