Candice's singing career started before she got into acting. The debut album of Candice, Always the Uninnocent Ones In United States, was released in the year 2009. She wrote twelve of the 14 tracks that comprise the album. Simultaneously she worked to develop her acting skills while guest starring on a couple of shows including How I Met Your Mother and Greek. While her professional career was steady the big breakthrough eluded her until she got a role as a character on the CW show The Vampire Diaries. The Vampire Diaries turned her into quickly a household name. Candice King's outstanding acting and performance were widely highly praised. Her role was reprised for the series' 171 episodes and eight seasons. Her role as a regular was portrayed on The Originals, a spin-off in the year 2018, as well as Legacies which is a series for 2021.
